The national currency of the Republic of Armenia is dram. ISO code - AMD, the sign - 
One dram is equal to hundred luma (not used). The CBA is vested with the exclusive right to issue currency.
The word ‘dram’ translating as ‘money’ was derived from Greek ‘drahma’ (Greek: δραχμή).
Armenian dram is listed as 'AMD' under ISO 4217 international standard.
The Armenian dram is also used in the de facto independent Republic of Artsakh.

1000, 5000, 10 000, 20 000, 50 000, 100 000 dram.
Coins of Armenian dram:
10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 dram.
