Enjoy a tour to "Armenian Alps" from Yerevan (Duration 6 to 7 hours). Along the way, admire a spectacular view of the 39 giant stone letters of Armenian Alphabet Monument, explore a 7th-century fortress Amberd and near the fortress see 11th-century Vahramashen Church then the isolated four-peaked Mount Aragats and the Lake Kari which is one of the most well-known crater lakes is located in the Caucasus, it is actually the highest lake in the region with 3,185 m above the sea level and has a perimeter of 1,150 m.! Rain and snow are completely responsible for filling up this lake, making it a clear source of fresh water.
