The winery is located 70 km west of Yerevan. It will bring you to the age-old wine estates of the Armavir region, where history, tradition and culture come together.

Here you will be able to enjoy the beautiful vineyards with unique biblical Ararat and Sis mountains views.

According to legend, after the great flood, Noah and his descendants planted the first vine of grapes at the foot of Mount Ararat.
 

At 09:30 am or 12:30 pm, you will meet our colleague in front of the main door of your accommodation, and then you will  be  taken to the Karas winery. Your tour includes a cellar tour and a wine tasting paired with cheese, chocolate and dried fruits or nuts. The wine-making process will also be explained in detail during this visit.

 

The visit starts with the viewpoint of the vineyard and an explanation of the Karas Project, its history, the technology used and all the information regarding the vineyards. Then you will have a tour around the reservoirs and greenhouses (not available in winter).

 

Afterwards, the group will be redirected towards the winery, where they will be informed about the production of wines, including the technology, equipment, and products.
