Alluria Wine Tasting Tour
Discover flavors of Alluria on this 3-hours wine-tasting tour from Yerevan.
At the proper time, you will meet our colleague in front of the main door of your accommodation, then you will be departed to the Alluria winery. The visit starts with the viewpoint of the vineyard and an explanation of the Alluria Project, its history, the technology used and all the information regarding the vineyards. Your tour includes a cellar tour and a wine tasting (5 to 7 wines) paired with cheese, grape seed oil, an assortment of Armenian cheese, and bread. Learn how to gain insight into winemaking secrets and heritage. Explore the cellars and vineyards, and learn of the diverse grape varietals flourishing in the fertile soils. Sample some of the wines in production and how to pair them with your meals. In the case of having some winemaking process in the factory at the moment of the visit, guests can take part in it.
You'll have the opportunity to buy wines that are presented in the market, some experimental wines that will already be bottled, grape seed oil that is made at Alluria's request, and other unique products.
On route back to Yerevan you'll visit the Holy Etchmiadzin known as the "Armenian Vatican".
