Visit one of the best Wineries of Armenia and get a chance to learn everything about winemaking with new technologies and enjoy the taste of Armenian wine made with great excellence!

The winery is located 70 km west of Yerevan. It will bring you to the age-old wine estates of the Armavir region, where history, tradition and culture come together.

Here you will be able to enjoy the beautiful vineyards with unique biblical Ararat and Sis mountains views.

According to legend, after the great flood, Noah and his descendants planted the first vine of grapes on the foot of Mount Ararat.

_ Admire the incredible views of Biblical Mount Ararat and come down to the high-tech sustainable vineyards of KARAS.

At 09:30 am or 12:30 pm, you will meet our colleague in front of the main door of your accommodation, and then you will be taken to the Karas winery. Your tour includes a cellar tour and a wine tasting paired with cheese, chocolate and dried fruits or nuts. The wine-making process will also be explained in detail during this visit.

The visit starts with the viewpoint of the vineyard and an explanation of the Karas Project, its history, the technology used and all the information regarding the vineyards. Then you will have a tour around the reservoirs and greenhouses (not available in winter).

Afterwards, the group will be redirected towards the winery where he will be informed about the production of wines, showing the technology, equipment and products.

- In the end, it is holding a wine tasting including 4 tasting wines. The tour also includes a voucher* of 1000 AMD to purchase products from the wine shop of the factory.

*Voucher is valid only for the Wine Shop of Karas Winery (only valid on the same day of the tour).

CLASSIC PACK

- The visit at TDA’s Place will start at the observatory, where TDA’s representative will present the visitors with information on TDA’s field and "KARAS” project. Then a tour will be made of the vineyard, showing the reservoirs, orchard, etc.

- Afterwards, the visitors will pass to the winery, where TDA’s representative will explain the process of wine production.

- At the end, the visitors will pass to the tasting room, where they will taste 3 types of wines:

 "Kangun”

 "Areni”

 "Reserv Areni Sireni”

Each Classic Pack also includes one voucher of AMD 1,000 (Armenian drams one thousand), which can be used exclusively for purchasing wine from TDA’s Place during the day of the visit.

- Afterwards, the visitors will pass to the winery, where TDA’s representative will explain the process of wine production.

- At the end, the visitors will pass to the tasting room, where they will taste 5 types of wines:

 "Reserv Areni Sireni"

 "Single Vineyard Syrah”
 "Grand Karas”

Each Premium Pack also includes one voucher of AMD 2,000 (Armenian drams two thousand), which can be used exclusively for purchasing wine from TDA’s Place during the day of the visit.
